For the last six years spring in Zagreb has come to stand for „The Zagreb Energy Week“. This year, the Zagreb Energy week was held under the message „Development we don't want to stop, but pollution we can! “ between May 11th -16th, 2015.
The Zagreb Energy Week presents a complex mosaic of a whole range of activities with the aim of including all generations and stakeholders in a long-term fight against climate change. Our message “Development we don’t want to stop, but pollution we can!” calls upon joint action in implementing projects for sustainable urban development and the preservation of natural resources for future generations.
In its rich program, the Zagreb energy week includes a number of international and local conferences, expert meetings, open door days, seminars, classes and workshops that deal with key subjects of energy and environment.
Monday, May 11th was reserved for the “Efficient and Sustainable Urban Mobility” seminar which was an opportunity for the participants to learn more about the project Ele.C.Tra. The project was on this occasion presented by the representative of the City of Zagreb, City Office for energy, environment and sustainable development, Mrs Bruna Jaksic. The other presentations in the seminar highlighted the importance of developing electro mobility in the City.
The 6. Zagreb energy week ended with the final event, EE Info Day, on the main city square which allowed the stakeholders a glimpse into the new technologies and achievements of citizens.
