During the press conference held on September 22nd in the State Room of Palazzo Tursi in front of 35 guests and local journalists to present the program of the Genoa Researcher's Night of September 25th, Alderman Carla Sibilla has highlighted the importance of the Ele.C.Tra. Project, among the other projects managed by the Municipality of Genoa, toward a solution of Genoa’s mobility problems, and also in the reduction of CO2 emissions, as of European targets.

One of the speakers, dr. Alberto Cappato, of the Porto Antico, as one of the signatories of the Ele.C.Tra. Project’s Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipality of Genoa has stressed the importance of these European initiatives for the urban context, giving the public administrations a useful tool to validate actual change, trying different business models in which the actors involved can act out their opinions and needs in a constructive and productive dialogue.

The Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide occasion of meeting between young researchers and business. The Genoa’s Night culminated in a party at the Porto Antico, one of the main tourist attraction of the city, were earlier in the day was held a public demonstration of electric vehicles connected with the Ele.C.Tra. Project.
