Ele.C.Tra Project collaboration with the PRO‐E-BIKE Project

The Ele.C.Tra project participated in the 2nd PRO‐E-BIKE Workshop, on 22nd April 2015. 

The market share of electric vehicles is increasing in future mobility scenarios. However, the speed and magnitude of EVs market penetration is dependent on several factors. Electric mobility seems to be an innovative solution for the transport sector, but at the same time a further challenge for the traditional forms of car-usage.

Pro-E-Bike and eBRIDGE projects, as well as the Ele.C.Tra project are trying to break this barrier and contribute to a wider adoption of these vehicles for different purposes in urban mobility.

The objective of the workshop was to encourage the networking among the projects partners and other entities and promote a knowledge transfer networking, with emphasis on electric mobility and on strategies for the market penetration of electric vehicles.

Results or contribution to Ele.C.TRA project

Increased visibility of Ele.C.Tra objectives and activities. Cross-fertilisation with Pro-E-Bike and eBRIDGE projects which share with Ele.C.Tra common objectives of improvement of environmental sustainability, referring to transportation of persons and goods.
