City of Zagreb

The City of Zagreb, capital of the Republic of Croatia, is the biggest city in the Republic of Croatia as well as unit of local administration and, at the same time, unit of regional administration at county level. The City of Zagreb is a cultural, scientific, economic, political and administrative center of the Republic of Croatia with the seat of Parliament, President and Government of the Republic of Croatia.

The City Office for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development is responsible for several strands of work including: planning of energy development; heat energy and ensuring the continuous distribution of heat energy; energy efficiency in direct consumption; sustainable development; renewable energy sources; ecologically acceptable fuel; environmental protection; air protection; water protection; management of waste; protection from noise and maintenance of administrative buildings, installations, equipment and devices and other activities that are within its jurisdiction.
