The importance of the project Ele.C.Tra for the City of Zagreb
Global warming and climate change present one of the major problems in the world today. Urban areas in the EU are responsible for 80% of energy consumption and CO2 emissions which causes global warming.
The Ele.C.Tra project presents an opportunity to jointly make a significant step in the development of electromobility as an important component of sustainable urban transport, thus ensuring a better future with less polution in cities. This is why the City of Zagreb participates as a partner on the project Ele.C.Tra which aims to promote the use of electric light vehicles and electric scooters in urban areas. The planned scooter sharing model shall encourage the daily use of green transport vehicles by citizend and tourists alike. The production of the feasibility study for the implementation of the Ele.C.Tra model in the City of Zagreb shall be a stepping stone for the application of electric scooters and light electric vehicles in our city. |
