Ele.C.Tra. and the European Mobility Week in Genoa

16-22 September 2014

The City of Genoa joins the European Mobility Week (EMW). A lot of events and thematic initiatives to increase the citizens awareness on sustainable mobility take place around the city. This year Ele.C.TRA project is part of the programme and will be present through different initiatives listed below:

16/09/2014 Palazzo Tursi from 15:00 to 17:00 – “OPEN DIALOGUE ON ELECTRIC MOBILITY”

Meeting/debate on Electric Mobility and presentation to the Mobility Manager of the Agreement schemes approved by the Municipality on the 28 of August. The Administration and four category of stakeholders (manufacturers, Recharging hubs Infrastructure Managers, Promoters and others) will sign them in order to promote through facilitations and promotions the use of electric scooters in cities in order to develop a self-sustained model of electrical scooter market based on more favourable conditions for economic growth.

On 19/09/2014 and 20/09/2014 “FREE TRIAL OF ELECTRIC SCOOTER”

Traveling road show where all citizens and tourist will test electric scooters for free. They are scheduled in two areas:

  • on 19/09/2014 from 10:00 to 18:00 at IKEA STORE
  • on 20/09/2014 from 10:00 to 18:00 in Commercial Centre “Fiumara”.

Moreover, the Municipality of Genoa, starting from 19/06/2014, allows free access to ZTL (Trafic Limited Zone) for electric vehicles.
