Conference: “Ele.C.Tra project: electric mobility, a more sustainable mobility”

BCNecologia, the Urban Ecology Agency of Barcelona, partner of the European project Ele.C.Tra, is organizing on 29 September, as part of the celebration of the Sustainable Mobility Week, the conference "Projecte Ele.C.Tra: mobilitat electrica, mobilitat mes sostenible" ("Ele.C.Tra project: electric mobility, a more sustainable mobility") with the aim of promoting the development of new alternative transport systems in urban environments and analyze the role of e-mobility in Barcelona in the context of the sustainable mobility policies being developed in the city.

During the conference the most important aspects about electric mobility also linked to the implementation of shared transport systems will be discussed, such as the innovative e-scooter sharing service MOTIT, which has operated in the Catalan capital for almost a year.

The conference, organized in collaboration with the Mobility Department and the Urban Habitat Department of the City Council, will involve experts and stakeholders in electric mobility (public administration, private companies and civil society) in order to share knowledge, experiences and views, which should contribute to the implementation and promotion of innovative urban transport systems, more flexible, and ultimately more sustainable.
