Ele.C.Tra project in the EMW 2014 in Murcia

During the days 16-22, September 2014, the celebration of the EMW (European Mobility week)took place in Murcia. It was a relevant event that attracted a lot of citizens. The goal was to get people together to enjoy sustainable mobility and turn the streets more friendly to pedestrians and cyclists.

Among the activities that were held can be mentioned the “A day without car”, where one major street was cut to traffic to allow citizens riding on the bicycle, practice skating or take part in games among other things. With respect to electromobility and within the framework of the European Project EleC.Tra, an exhibition of electric scooters was performed by local e-scooter shops to bring people closer to that kind of vehicles. Those who had the opportunity to test an electric scooter could check the benefits of using them in a daily basis.
