Ele.C.Tra Project Field Visit to the FLEXIBUS System

In the scope of the 6th Ele.C.Tra project meeting, which took place in Lisbon, on 26th and 27th November 2015, a field visit was organised by the hosting partner Exacto, in collaboration with the Energy Management Agency of Almada, to introduce to the project partners the FLEXIBUS, an inclusive e-Mobility Service, in Almada (a municipality in the Great Lisbon Area).
The service is operated by two electric mini-buses, with a high level of flexibility, adapted to the needs of the users.

   

The FLEXIBUS is organised in two lines – Cacilhas/Almada/Pragal (M1) and Laranjeiro/Cova da Piedade/Almada (M2) and was outlined to improve the bus network, taking particular attention to the needs of elderly citizens.
