The 27th edition of the largest electric mobility conference worldwide, the EVS, was celebrated for the first time in Barcelona from 18-20 November. The symposium brought together more than 500 industry experts, among whom were leading academics and government and industry professionals that have explored the challenges to build a more sustainable mobility.

The event featured an exhibition area, with over 170 exhibitors of the latest innovations of global electric transportation. Ele.C.Tra Project was present at the stand shared by the Catalan Government, the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and the Barcelona City Council where the highlights of electric mobility projects in the territory were showed.

During the event Ele.C.Tra team from BCNecologia talked and shared experiences with other European projects on electric mobility such as Molecules and Green eMotion. The Ele.C.Tra Spanish partner took also the opportunity to meet again Gonzalo Alonso, General Director of Going Green, a company which is now about to launch MOTIT in the Catalan capital, the first shared electric motorbike service in the world.

The congress was the best occasion to explore the latest technologies and solutions related to electric transport: new vehicle models by the most relevant firms, renting and sharing systems, charging points and stations, etc.

The presence of Ele.C.Tra during the EVS has represented an excellent international opening for the promotion and dissemination of the project among both the main stakeholders involved in electric mobility and the general public attending the congress.
